Mural Madness 2013

A new year has arrived, and many more artworks have appeared. Some shop owners have approached artists and put in requests, which is wonderful. May the murals continue to spread and evolve. Brighton is looking very colourful.  Mural Madness is currently seeking funding to allow the purchase of more supplies for artists.

Reporter Jeff Hampton visited Brighton to find out how Brighton is progressing since the quakes, and to look at the proposed idea of a "Water World" along the waterfront. Mural madness is also featured.
In the Draft New Brighton Centre Master Plan the council has not include the water complex. The following link allows you to make a submission.

Murals continue in December

But wait there is more.................

November comes to an end

Well, Mural Madness was officially meant to run over the month of November.......... and we are almost out of paint! Brighton is looking fantastic thanks to all you hard working artists. Some walls are yet to be completed  and I am hoping more will become availbale over the months. If we can secure funding for more paint and spray cans, we will carry on creating in Brighton. Thank you all you wonderful artists who have been helping give Brighton an artistic point of difference.
